Late-night interview with Jon Fabricius and the new member of the team, partaking the duties as a Marketing & Communications Officer, “MCO” – Peteris (Peter) Ginters.

Having a situation like the Covid-19 accelerates changes and new ways to cope with unpredictably unfortunate situations with negative impacts.

GTR24h has been affected as well, as it limits functions, such as real events and that, so it has to be produced online, to follow the guidelines while maintaining safety.

The biggest challenge so far has been planning and not the financial aspects, due to Covid-19 caused limitations, but that has not stopped. The GTR24h thank’s to the new passionate talents with the endurance of a high-speed processor.

Hopefully, the situation will change for the best in time, as it is a fascinating time for the GTR24h. Yet though it creates a lot more work, it also provides innovative ideas, like the new green wall at the studio for the Live Weather forecasts and the interviews. New things offer new opportunities.

With the backing of the sponsors, partners, and investments, it is possible to do that without setbacks while moving on with production. To some degree, it was not clear if the Live studio production will be possible for the Matsusaka race. While one of our team members from Finland was not able to come due to the circumstances, new talent with a broad knowledge of motorsport was brought in to mix the experience of both worlds.

Contract with the ESR is a big stepping stone forward, sharing the produced content to a broad audience will provide with the tools to create brand awareness for the teams. Along with the prizes provided by the sponsors.

SprintSearies – Reboot is definitely happening, to maintain the weekly races, as it is good fun to watch for sure.

Lastly, the current situation is not very nice, with a lot of death and infections, but also it has pushed things to accelerate much faster than it would have otherwise.
