  1. Food tickets

Sunday 22nd of October is your last chance to buy food tickets. The tickets include breakfast buffet Saturday and Sunday, evening meal for Saturday of pork chops baked in tomato sauce with apple pie dessert. You can buy the tickets here:

  2. Lighting in the arena

For the entire event, we plan to run with the lights either dimmed or completely turned off. For your pit and paddock area, we recommend you your own lighting. Do not go overboard with this. Any strong light has to be directional!
We recommend LED strips or Christmas tree light chains style lighting for ambient lighting in your paddock, and swing arm desk lamps for focused strong lighting.
    For inspiration:

  3. Network

Each racing frame will have access to ONE rj45 network cable, and each paddock spot will also have access to ONE rj45 network cable. If you need to bring multiple computers onto the wired part of the network, you will have to bring your own switch. Pay attention that you bring a switch! NOT a router!

  4. Grounded power

If you for any weird reason require your power cables to be grounded, there are 4 wall sockets on the end-walls of the arena. You will have to bring your own cabling to extend from these sockets to where ever you need the grounded power. The standard GTR24h power network is NOT grounded.

  5. Duct tape and zip ties

There is nothing more annoying than a rejoin because a cable got pulled. Keep your cables tidy and in place.

  6. Have your own live streams

We have a very powerful internet connection this year. We encourage all teams to stream live from their cars, pits and everywhere they like. Videos on how to set up a cool live stream with software called OBS is coming up. Also showing how to use old Android phones as webcams.
When you are live streaming at the event, please send links to your stream or IP-addresses to your webcams in a private message to our Facebook page
We will then include your video feeds in our broadcasting, and this helps the quality of our live broadcasting very much.

  7. Sharing stuff and have GTR24h share your stuff

If you support the GTR24h, remember to share, subscribe and like our posts. If you have posts that you would like us to share on the GTR24h Facebook page, or as news on the web page. Send us a message on Facebook. Facebook videos will only be shared on the Facebook page. Youtube videos can also be shared as news posts on the website. But you HAVE to contact us in a private message on Facebook.

  8. GTR24h race control on Twitter

During the race, important messages from race control will be sent through our Twitter account with the hash-tag #gtr24h
If you are on a mobile phone you can also catch our live stream on Periscope through this Twitter channel.

  9. Old Android phones with wall chargers

If you have one, can we borrow it, please? Any phones newer the HTC Desire HD with a 720p capable video camera is good enough. We install an app called IP Cam and place them in various locations around the venue. If you have one we can borrow, write a PM to our Facebook page
