GTR24H is all about bringing sim racing to a wider audience. We will be working hard to make it as entertaining as possible for both drivers, teams, and viewers to watch our content. This year we are taking giant steps towards making our strategy a reality. A strategy that needs several things to be secured in order for us to move forwards towards our goal. And one of the important factors is the audience. It is hard to consider a hobby as a sport or even an eSport without an audience. Today we are taking a big step up in terms of audience reach by entering a five-year partnership with ESR, the first 24/7 eSports Network in the United States. Launched in March 2019 with Sinclair Broadcast Group on its STIRR platform, ESR is focused on bringing eSports and gaming content to the TV screen, available to a wider audience who are often disconnected or disengaged from traditional broadcast TV. Watching 24/7 eSports content should be as easy as turning on your TV.

We know there is a strong correlation between our motorsports interested sim racing demographic and the demographic that ESR is trying to activate. An age group and demographic that doesn’t feel engaged by traditional broadcast TV content like talent shows or reality TV. And because sim racing is a close simulation of real-life motorsports, as an eSport it is instantly recognized by all age groups and genders. As opposed to most other eSports content, sim racing doesn’t require any prior knowledge of specific games or game mechanics. It is instantly recognized and understood by everyone who understands that the fastest car will win. And yet the sport is deep, dynamic, and full of strategic and tactical choices that will engage the seasoned viewer as well. We believe our content will help ESR grow even further and activate even more eSports fans to follow our series, teams, and drivers.
